Crêperie in Osnabruck

Creperie with a view of the historic town hall. Delicious creps and friendly service.

The two of us went to the creperie in the late afternoon. When entering the restaurant we asked whether it was still open, as it was completely empty and we couldn't quite see whether it was still open. Then we heard in a snippy tone that the door was obviously open and the restaurant was open accordingly. When my friend ordered a crepe with a little more Nutella, the older waitress made her choice audibly bad. Sentences were made: "I could throw up from warm Nutella but well, I don't have to eat it" and later the younger waitress replied shortly before she brought us the crepes, "Yes, it's not my cup either". My girlfriend had lost her appetite by then and she felt very bad eating the crepes. The atmosphere was uncomfortable and we actually wanted to leave quickly. In the end, when we pointed out her behavior to the waitress, the waitress again apologized in an extremely snippy tone. As customers, we didn't respect each other and felt comfortable. A very unprofessional, rude, generally absolutely unacceptable behavior, especially in the catering trade. You don't always have a good day, but that's not how you let customers feel it.

On an extended walk through the old town of Osnabrück, hunger drove us close to the creperie at the market. We were very excited. Small shop but with lovingly made crepes and gallete are recommended here. We have been part of Osnabrück for over 42 years. No wonder when it comes to quality and good taste. Again and again!

Small but nice, nice staff and the name says it all, the hearty buckwheat galette is also recommended. Different wonderful fillings ... 😊

It has the best crepe I have ever tasted. Very friendly. The prices are ok.

The beer is okay. The food - made with simple ingredients of tin and glass. fresh and delicious is something else. ... Yes, you need a good stomach; ) as another visitor has already noticed. The atmosphere in the restaurant is simple, unadorned, in need of renovation. The outdoor seating is quite narrow, here emphasis is put on co-operation with the neighboring tables, which is - especially with smokers - unpleasant.

Pleasant atmosphere, nice service. The crêpes - just sweet, are delicious. But the Galettes are anything but "original". Here every Breton loses his appetite. Who is used to 'real' Galettes, is rather disappointed here. And top three mushrooms from the preserve! - that does not work. Rather something for those with less demanding palates.

Sweet ladies running this little crepes cafe. Good crepes, good leek-potato soup, also had a beer there in the evening. Recommended.
